Great place to rent ski boats for the day.

9.3 miles from vintage villas. Best place in Austin for pampering. Definately
bride approved and highly recommended. We recommend the half day package. It
only includes 2 spa treatments and lunch however you are allowed access to the
facilities for the whole day. Which means you can swim in the pool, go
kayaking in Lake Austin, or read in the hammocks by the water. |
|
Beautiful view of the lake and the best fajitas (great margaritas too). Just
down 620 from the wedding site.
|
|
Great outdoor dining on the lake. It is located just down the road from the
wedding site off 620 at Clara Van Trail. You will see the sign from 620. This
is also a great place to stop and eat when you are on the water. There is
plenty of dock space to park your boat while you grab a meal.

Pretty much across 620 from the wedding site. Hudsons on the Bend is a nice
restaurant with some native foods and a great wine list. Their menu includes
venison, wild boar, as well as lobster so it is definately an interesting
restuarant to make sure to visit.

For those who need an update on their Texas History or want to go to the Imax
Theater.

Austin is the live music capital of the world and Antone's is a great place to
experience some live music.

|
A really great outdoor sculpture garden. Nice area to walk around and look at
the cool sculptures. They also have some great chairs outside if you want to
bring a book and relax.

The Barton Creek Greenbelt
|
|
Great hiking and mountain biking. Over 1000 acres very close to downtown
Austin. There are many entrances to the greenbelt but the easiest is probably
the one off of 360 just east of Loop 1.

|
This is a park in the middle of downtown Austin. It is connected to
the Hike and Bike trail that goes around Town Lake. From Zilker
park canoes and kayaks can be rented to be able to cruise around on the
lake.
